A true twilight session is a separate visit scheduled near sunset. It shows how the home’s lighting and outdoor spaces look in the evening, including features the daytime photos may not capture.
Virtual twilight creates a dusk-style image from a daytime photo. It is a lower-cost option that does not require another visit, but it does not document the property’s actual evening lighting.
When to book twilight.
- Architectural lighting, a lit pool, or landscape uplighting the daytime set cannot show.
- A mountain or city backdrop that reads better as a silhouette than as a hazy afternoon.
- Listings that would benefit from an evening exterior image alongside the daytime photos.

Arizona’s monsoon season runs June 15 through September 30. Storms, dust and wind can affect twilight coverage. If conditions interfere with the planned shoot, we’ll contact you to discuss scheduling.

True twilight or virtual twilight?
True twilight is photographed on site near sunset and captures the property’s evening lighting. Virtual twilight is edited from a daytime photo to create a dusk-style image. Choose true twilight when the actual lighting is a feature you want to show, or virtual twilight when you want that style without scheduling another visit.
When should I book twilight?
Twilight is a good fit when exterior lighting, a lit pool or outdoor living spaces are important features. It adds an evening view of the property to the daytime photo set.
